John and Gail.

It is with great pleasure that I announce the Tasters Guild "Chapter of the Year" for 2006 — Diablo, California!

In recognition of your outstanding efforts to enhance the knowledge and pleasure of wine and food to the people of your area, we take pride in presenting this distinguished award to the two of you. Your chapter has long been one of the shinning stars of the Tasters Guild and it is time you receive that recognition.

Having said that, I hope you would have the opportunity to come to Grand Rapids during the International Wine Judging April 25-28 to receive your award at the Gala Banquet on the 27th. If not, I will send it to you as soon as it is completed.

By the way, I will be at the Long Beach Wine Judging on July 21 and 22, if it wouldn't be too much of an inconvenience, maybe I could visit with your chapter if you have an event going during that time. At the very least, I would very much like to meet the two of you and get your ideas for the future of Tasters Guild.
