During the year, many notable food and wine events occur around the Bay Area and in nearby wine regions.  Such events that come to our attention will be listed here, with links to associated web pages provided when they are available. If you learn of an event that isn't posted here, let us know so that we can share the news!

What is it?  The Cal-Italia Wine & Food Festival’s signature event is an annual Italian Festival that will take you to a place transformed into an Italian-style “piazza.” People of all ages and backgrounds will enjoy wine, food, information, and entertainment.

What is it? Open House parties, new releases and barrel samples featured along with other currently released wines availabale for tasting and purchase. $30. admission includes tasting, live music and munchies along with a souvenir Riedel glass. Noon to 5 at the winery in Alameda.

What is it? ZAP's Zinfandel Festival is an internationally recognized series of tastings which are the premier single-varietal events in the world. With an estimated 300 wineries and over 10,000 attendees over four days.
Rhone Rangers annual tasting

What is it?  Over 140 Rhone Ranger wineries from across the U.S. presenting barrel samples, new releases and library samples of American Rhone wines along with samples of artisan foods from the Bay Area.
